It'll be interesting to see what they do when we get the banner out in a few weeks if results carry on like they currently are doing.

I read someone yesterday who said there just aren't any good English managers, or few to speak of. That's why they all keep getting sacked and rematerialising at other clubs. To fail again

I'd love to see DW succeed at Pools.

But at the moment he isn't.

All of the warning signs are there too.

I was thinking the same.

Oh, and he is a better option in midfield than is currently playing.

He does ok at left back considering that he is playing out of position.

I'd rather see him playing on the left of midfield as a left footed player than the current mix and match rabbit out of a hat approach to filling our team.

Last season he was sent out on loan as a kick up the arse and it worked. This season he is the only player given a run at left back, I don't think Elliot has been given a decent run in the team or the opportunity to develop an understanding with the other defenders. I know I'll get the Ritchie Humphreys fan club throwing bricks at me but I happen to believe that Humphreys is living on past glories, he is simply not quick enough or good enough to play left back in this league.

OK.

Last season he dropped him, then dumped him out on loan. He then came back, and was arguably our best player.

This season starts and he dumps him again. He then regains his place, and has generally played ok. Just because you, and certain others blame him for everything......he is still a good player, and is the best left back at the club.

Oh, and he is a better option in midfield than is currently playing.

He has played 19 times this season, considering he has been average at best I don't see how he has been treated unfairly.

I know you fatties like you to stick together but Wilson has treated him just fine from where I am sitting.

The club AGM is on 11 December at 10:00 am - anyone going to that? Seems like an ideal opportunity to raise questions or suggest a supporters meeting.

I share those concerns, and against the teams with better right wingers in this division he does get found out.

Against some teams he gets away with it.

If Monkhouse is injured / out of favour I'd play Humphreys left midfield and give Elliott a run at left back.

At least the team would be better balanced.

I don't think that it is an open invitation for anybody wanting to pop in.

Shareholders only isn't it?

He is injured, swelling on his knee according to the official site. Will be back soon as a starter.

I've not seen Elliott play this season, is he any quicker than Humphreys.

I know when he joined us, he wanted to play CB, rather than LB,
which could suggest he didn't fancy chasing nippy wingers down the line.
