We recently switched over from virgin media to sky. Since getting sky internet we have had nothing but problems getting disconnected from the internet for short periods of time on several occasions every day. Does any body else have a sky wireless router and have these problems?

they'll be forcing an 8M signal down a line capable of significantly less.

Give em a ring ask to cap your profile to something that the line is capable of handling.

That means nothing to me, a bit too technical.

I've never had any problems with sky broadband.

However, if you've recently switched to Microsoft Vista there are known problem with wireless connections. Particularly dropping connections periodically.

We've had sky wireless broadband for about three months now. Not a single problem at all, it's the free package and I'm over the moon with it.

Got an imac as the main computer but we regularly have a laptop connected wirelessly with no problems.

I have also just switched to sky broadband. Having a Windows Vista Laptop and
a PC on Windows XP. The only problem i have is that it is sometimes slow on the laptop.
But i have no connections issues.

We're on Sky broadband at home, have been for about 6 months now and not had any problems whatsoever.

Not like when I was with NTL at the last house. They have to be in the running for shittest company of all time.
