That looks like another club Mr Newell has left in tatters.

you would think it's an almost impossible task for them if they can't buy any more players. I think they'll have to start selling some of their better players now to boot.
Cheltenham and Luton now seem certs for the drop, only two places to avoid for everyone else.
Surely even Pools wouldn't do that to us, would they??

I think Pools will finish comfrtably higher than fourth bottom but it is important that the performances improve and hopefully some sort of play off push can materialise. If we jump about between 13th and 16th for the rest of the season crowds will drop even lower than the level last week and that could seriously affect our abilities to bring in quality signings next season.

Thought you'd never ask - I think this one got higher than owt by Wah

" Leeds! Leeds! Leeds! (commonly known as Marching On Together) is the name of the anthem of Leeds United A.F.C. Unlike many football songs that are just new words set to existing music, Leeds! Leeds! Leeds! is an original composition by Les Reed and Barry Mason. The song first appeared in 1972 as the B-side of the record released by Leeds United to coincide with the team reaching the 1972 FA Cup Final, the A-side being titled "Leeds United". The vocals on the original recording were sung by the then members of the Leeds United team and their supporters. The record stayed in the UK Singles Chart for almost 3 months, peaking at number 10. "

I always thought M.O.T was Coventry's song???
Jimmy Hill wanted a Coventry club anthem, and commissioned someone to write it???
