Why is it another Jock defeat is greeted in certain circles as "plucky" or "heroic".

I play 5-a-side each week (at a reasonable level of course) with a couple of sweaties who always turn up in various Argentinian, Romanian, German etc kits. Last week was the first time in nigh-on 10 years that they've worn Scotland shirts. Needless to say, they weren't wearing them this week. :laugh:

Sad, bitter, small-minded all seem to come to mind when I think of some of the Jock fans - I too ran into a bunch of them in Argie shirts when I was in Spain watching England years ago. Have they got nothing better to spend their cash on?

Funny thing is I was still pleased when they scored against Italy. It doesn't mean I have to sink to their level refred
