If I was gonna do a cover version I'd do Sweet Gene Vincent by Ian Dury.
Mind you, I cant sing in the slightest.

ooohhh...he even looks a bit like Mr Dury as well. Pretty good though not as good as Ian himself.
Just listened to your original cover version ECG and it is good yeah. Previously I just made a smug comment without playing the song.
Anyway, changed my mind now. Dont reckon I could sing that. I'm going for my favourite song of the last three days, one I find a bit inspirational in a stick it up your arse kind of way, I will succeed sort of thing:

I agree, MJ, it's pleasant but doesn't add anything to the original.
I wouldn't say it's an improvement though: if you're going to cover a voice like John Fogerty's you need someone whose voice is a tad less bland that this singer's.
