Frank, do you know who it is or is this a test ?

Bradford player looks like Marco Gabbiadini - didn't play for them - could be his brother, maybe ?

His Madness is spot on (It's what I'd expect from the Statistician Extrordinaire!!) It's obviously from the 91-92 season, and it's at the Vic (the old Disabled hut in the corner of the Rink end is in the background.) The only player who played that day and isn't instantly recognisable is Johnson.

As for Robbie James, again I reckon the nail has been hit on the head. This is an old picture of him from his Swansea days in the early 80's:

Looks like the same fella a decade older to me.

I'm pretty certain it's Jason Peake it looks nowt like David Johnson and does look like Peake (blond) I was only 10 at the time but have a good memory of Pools players!

I've just checked as well on Mr MadJohns fine site, Johnson played his last game for Pools on 19/12/91 and we played Bradford at home on Boxing Day.

My mistake, Johnson played his last game 19/12/92 he must have had two loan spells?

I remember him a bit more chubby and dark haired than that sctatchinghead I thought immediately it was Peake but he hadn't even made his debut by then.

Yeah, he had two spells with us. We first signed him on loan from Wednesday in early November 91 and he played his last game against Torquay on the 28th December. (The Bradford game was his last at the Vic).

We picked him up the following season as well, this time in late November for a month. Maybe he liked to do his Christmas shopping at the Middleton Grange!!

Jason Peake played in the same season, but he came on loan in mid-Feb.
