Give me a couple of 6-5 home wins for now. That'll do me fine!

How about keeping Robbo's goal, substituting Liddle (as a centre back/midfielder) for both Nelson and Strachan and Daly for Robinson, then chuck a Daly penner in for luck.

I think we brought this result on between us!

Yeah, cheers MJ!!!! :-( :-( :-(

But I'll take nerve wrackers and 5-3 wins every week over clean sheets!!

Bet there's not many clean sheets in Hartlepool tonight.....

I was wondering on the drive back from Bristol at the weekend just how infrequently we seem to keep clean sheets at home these days. So here's an alarming stat for you. The last time we won back-to-back home games and kept a clean sheet in both games was...

November 2001

Almost five years ago! Chris Turner was still in charge and Gordon Watson scored in both games. Martin Hollund was on the bench! We have played 126 home games since then and not once have we had a two game sequence that has read Played 2 Won 2 Conceded 0. And even if you allow for goalless draws it's approaching three years since we kept back-to-back clean sheets at home in the League!!!

Just thought I'd cheer you up
....mildly irritating but irrelevant, as apart from last season it did us no harm did it?
