Interesting.

First time I've seen them since Saturday.

Both of their goals were purely down to rank bad collective defending and goalkeeping.

Our goal? Hell of a cross and Barker took the header well.

It just reinforces what we thought on Saturday, that we'll lose more than we win if we can't defend at anything like a reasonable level.

I agree.

But,

out of our starting line up from Saturday, who would you have put money on to score a one on one like that?

The worrying thing for me is that nobody springs immediately to my mind.

If I had to put one player from our squad in that position and expect them to score it would be Mckay.

Good call.

Possibly even Porter.

So why aren't either getting a start?

A grand total of 100 minutes.

Matty Robson also did but he made the bench.

Some would say that he'd make a better joiner than he would a footballer.

Well I only thought that might be the reason. There was two strikers on the bench like.

I hope the pair of you are on about the chance that Liddle missed, not Moore. Moore did well and shot early, it was a good save. Liddle did everything right until his shot but he really should have scored.

agreed - Liddle's miss was awful. A case of a player from little Hartlepool getting a golden chance to put his team 2-1 up at a big ground like Forest, and bottling it perhaps??
He should have burst the net - if he's reading this, I hope he does just that next time!!!!!!

look at the winning goal... what was Liddle doing?? Surely he could have bust a gut when he saw Agogo running in.. or is that just me playing the blame game?
