The ability to delete posts is alive and kicking and will be used as necessary and has been done today.
If you don't want to be sued don't post anything that might invite it.

Very elegantly put by Jeff. I think the current owner has bitten off more than he can chew to be honest. He also reveals that the approach by Ryan Reynolds was factual - so many missed opportunities…

Our "fans rep" is not fit for purpose for the role.
As is the chairman!

I was going to resign myself to the fact that Singh would in charge for the next season and see what happens.
I am no longer going to do that...

Fans need to get together and force this man out of the club.

Going to be interesting on the terraces at Yeovil with Jeff amongst the Poolies!

Not sure how the fans will drive the owner out, can't think of any club where that's happened. Didn't work at Blackpool, Morecambe, Sheffield Wed, Newcastle, etc etc
The owners of football clubs generally leave on their own terms.

It happened with John Smart, I remember the opening day of the season at halifax one year. Supporters surrounded his rolls royce after the game, he resigned and put the club up for sale on the Monday.
Not that I'm suggesting anything like that  just saying, sometimes it happens.

He put the club up for sale but still left on his terms, Raj put the club up for sale a couple of years ago after fan reactions.

Fans do have some power, it may be limited, but we do have a voice!

If fans protested in an intelligent and peaceful manner outside the Vic and say the Hartlepool Mail took reported the views of the fans, it would gather momentum, Singh would be put in the spotlight even further and further pressure on him would ensue.

I am not saying we can change things overnight but if we highlighted our concerns the way our club is being run and did this in the appropriate manner, we would get a lot of people on our side.

I agree... But I still think it would be a good idea. Whether anyone is prepared to organise and execute it is another thing.

The problem is, we can accuse the club of not being run properly but can we substantiate that statement by offering concrete evidence of mis management.
Where do we start and what criteria do we use.
What is properly.
We have to be precise in our production of detail.
Is there anybody on this forum capable of presenting a case, or even a group of people.
At the moment all sorts of accusations get thrown at the club and all we've apparently achieved over the past three years of criticising is the fact that the chairman has dug his heels in and is keeping the club ticking over and he can do that ad infinitum if he so wishes. Some say he is punishing us for the way he perceives we have treat him and on the other hand we say the club is going nowhere until he shapes up or sells up.
We are at an impasse, a sort of irresistible force banging it's head against an immovable object.
That has to change but how.
How do we communicate our hopes, fears etc. without antagonising him. How do we get him to open up and create a situation where every faction within the club sings from the same hymn sheet.
I thought the Trust, as bona fide representatives of the fan base would have built the right bridges to connect the fans and the owner.
There you are, I've opened up a lot of questions without offering answers........any takers???

John Smart was very upset that a crank had found out where he lived and had sent a threatening poison letter.
The letter was waiting for him when he returned from a holiday. He said this was the final straw and he wanted out.

I'm afraid that in many cases such as Pools and other lower league clubs that the concrete evidence only appears AFTER the event when the club has gone bankrupt and the FORENSIC accountants have become involved. Just saying.... Happy just to wait because that last club "manoevre" was a complete disaster which showed such a massive misunderstanding of how true Pools fans really think. There's only so much we can really do except wait on a bit....
