Nick Houghton

Renamed in memory of John Hawksworth, a stalwart member who passed this day 2nd August 2020. RIP Mr Monkeybutt.

Sadly we must add the name of Kevin Minton, Aka Mr Ripper who passed 30/6/22. Kev was also Mr politically incorrect but a nicer lad you could never meet.

No idea if there's any truth in this, but he was their best player by a mile when we played them at the Vic last season. Their only goal threat was giving the ball to him in shooting range..

After the signings of Johnson and Reid I really can't see us signing Haughton as well.

If we by some minor miracle persuade him to sign alongside RaJ - we might just about make up the goals that have walked out the door.

Would be some signing getting him. Surprised he hasn't been snapped up by an EFL club before now.

That's some debt the club would be racking up. Hope Raj fancies writing some off.

must be a different player than i have seen over the years. however whats that a couple of times a season. over the years other clubs have shown an interest but for some reason its only been that and nothing happened. been at fylde too long for my liking in his comfort zone and i,d be a little worried if he came to us.

You do say some silly things, any player that has scored 99 goals in the last 4 seasons is not an average player.
You also said that Manni was not a good player, I can only assume that your either taking the piss or have never seen either player in action.

I'm going on record and saying that he would be a good signing under ANY ownership regime. Still... Raj out.

Probably made up by 'someone' at Pools to grab another 100 ST sales.

So 2 more incoming.

A keeper ye
And a Gazza style icing on the cake midfielder.
Maybe Gav Hollohan.

Is this a Promotion Squad?!

Good player, stats prove that, but I imagine, he'd be like the sort of player Gateshead churn out, plays well in a group with a plan, but not as an individual at another club, and he would be an individual at Pools. Would also imagine, he'd be one of those, like many good non league players from the NW, who wouldn't want to move to the East of the country.

agree. he must have been at fylde since they changed there name and has lived in the area for god knows how long. it would be a waste of the budget to sign him just to bribe the lad to move across the country for a couple of years. surely he must have had his 30th birthday by now and for me its 5 seasons too late taking the punt.
