National League Transfers

Renamed in memory of John Hawksworth, a stalwart member who passed this day 2nd August 2020. RIP Mr Monkeybutt.

Sadly we must add the name of Kevin Minton, Aka Mr Ripper who passed 30/6/22. Kev was also Mr politically incorrect but a nicer lad you could never meet.

For those who would like to compare our incomings with others.

15 out, 9 in (they only list 8, but haven’t included Kouogun for some reason), definitely space for a few more…

Cheers. I noticed earlier on that Gateshead lost Regan Booty to Barrow yesterday. That's their stella midfield (copyright KPG) all gone - Booty, Luke Hannant, Greg Olley. And Robbie Tinkler!

Alun Armstrong has got some rebuilding job there - 15 out, only 5 in so far (not counting Pete Jameson, who was on loan there last season and is back again for this).

I'll leave it to someone else to say 'Bet they still finish above Pools.' :)

They typically manage to pull something out of their arses but they could well be a relegation dark horse this year

Armstrong is going to have to work a miracle.

The Jameson deal is weird. He wanted the coaching role at the Heed but it meant he couldn’t keep playing unless he also signed as a player. He would have been 2nd or 3rd choice there so had to go out on loan to get games!

do not think his record as a manager is all that brilliant for a start. main thing going for him is he is local. doubt he,d get a job at this level out of his comfort zone area.
