March 14th

Renamed in memory of John Hawksworth, a stalwart member who passed this day 2nd August 2020. RIP Mr Monkeybutt.

Sadly we must add the name of Kevin Minton, Aka Mr Ripper who passed 30/6/22. Kev was also Mr politically incorrect but a nicer lad you could never meet.

A week after my 50th birthday. Perfect timing for that fixture.

There's not a lot of accommodation in Truro itself. Most of the hotels are pretty expensive in the city. You might be better off looking in and around Newquay or Falmouth where there are more places to stay and more places to go out after. The ground is two miles out to the west of the city, but there are shuttle buses that run right across from the park and ride on the east. They go through the centre to the ground.

Wadebridge TL cost for 2 nights £79. But as wife works for them it will be £39.50.

Good town. The only downside is you're the thick end of 25 miles from Truro in Wadebridge.

Couple of decent pubs that do accommodation

The County Arms is on booking.com, upmarket, but under a £100 for 2 if book now, nearer the ground as well, between the city centre and the ground, the ground which is the equivalent of Pools ground being at Sappers Corner I believe.
