He's already signed for Rochdale, they just haven't announced it yet.

Anutha downgrade replacement.

No better than MannyD or Madine.

Whens the upgrades Gunna arrive.

What was the first 'cracking' signing? I must have missed it. This was a good signing were it two years ago.

Anutha Campbell for sure.

Is that the new super frontline.

I'm getting Steve Howard (second time) vibes.

Realistically, who are you hoping we sign? Is there any signing you wouldn't find fault with?
I think Johnson is a good signing, I know it's in vogue to slate new signings, but I can't understand how you think it isn't a good signing.

Different leagues. Cleary couldn’t get a game at Walsall!

Big difference Is Mani can create, Johnson has to be created for.

Time will tell on this one Bobby, I would have preferred Mani to stay.

I'd have loved for Mani to have stayed, but he moved on like he moved onto us from Halifax. It happens, and to be honest I've only just gotten over Bob Newton moving to Port Vale....

Pleased with this signing, though would have been even better had he been paired with Mani.

Do you think Pools requested Rochdale keep it quiet until we'd announced Johnson- to help temper the shit storm?

I was hoping we would keep Mani and would not have to sign anyone. I don't greet any signing made under a Raj regime as anything to be optimistic about. Just too many false dawns under this reign. It's not vogue to slate new signings, people are just sick of trying to look on the bright side for it to turn out on the sh**e side. Year after year after year under his Rajesty's reign.

Er, weren't Mani, Sterry, Mols, Dodds, Cleary, Miley, Sherron, Cass, as a few successful examples all signed under the Raj regime?
The new players might work out, they might not, time will tell.
Mani and Mancini might work out at Rochdale they might not. Mani has 2 decent goalscoring seasons on his CV and they were both with us. Mancini might play more games but his career history doesn't suggest he will.
On paper at present our squad is worse than last seasons, that may change for the better or worse who knows. And at the end of the day the proof of the pudding will be league results.
Roll on the season starting and we find out.

Every cloud = the return of the Pools v Darlo fixture for 26/27.

While Spennymoor probably take over the top dogs status in division 5.

Think everyone would've preferred to keep Mani but he's gone just like others have gone before him and others will go after him.

One thing is obvious when contracts are running out start serious negotiations in January so come the end of the season you can rebuild for the new season built around your better players. Manni D was not a prolific scorer prior to coming to Pools and he did not seem to give a toss after January a repeat of his last few months at Halifax. Feel he would have stayed if the take over had happened.

His performances dropped of dramatically when he got that contract offer in January.

Maybe it was insulting any that's why he went into strike mode.
IE= cudent be arsed n missed open goals.
