I can’t see Pools offering him better terms to him than WBA but I live in hope.

Cleary is good enough to play in League One and I think someone will take a punt on him. You can go on about Mani D and Joe Gray as being our main attacking players but without Cleary last season we would have been in a relegation battle…

Not sure he's ready for Div 1 but definitely div 2 would be worth a punt. Wherever he goes he needs to be playing regularly or his career will just stall. Brave man turning down a contract extension with WBA. Love him to come back but good luck Reyes, definitely kept us out of a relegation battle.

The only way we'll have a chance of signing him is when he's 34 and coming back from a double hernia and ACL operation. sadx

Haven't got rid of the "I love Coxhall" tattoos yet, in fact it's only the last 4 letters that have gone so far so I don't wear shorts!!

Yes i agree the goals and assists stats must be impressive, he seemed the only guy (except Mancini and a few from Grey) that took on the opposition and was a cause of concern for them.
I dream.

Got to agree. I reckon his goals and assists were worth 5 or 6 points as a minimum. Take them away and Pools would have finished a couple of points above the drop - if they didn't bottle it in the last few games.

A reality statement that MannyD lacked 100% commitment from January.

Best to value a player on what they did recently and not before that.
But we are Pools under no ambition.

Still haven't come across a Poolie predicting Promotion yet!

Single handed he saved our season from being a bad one.
Thank you Reyes.

if that near miracle did happen what will the vic boycotters be thinking then. it sounds a near impossibility for pools now but not the mahority of our opponents it would not be.

if we offered decent money it could be a good move for him. regular games in front of fans who support him. far better than going to a efl club and get lost like he did at walsall. good case for a step down to take two steps up in the future.

Grey and Mani are both out of contract as from tomorrow, hopefully no statements so far means they're seriously considering staying here?
Was there any pics of players arriving for their assessment Friday, if so who did / didn't show up?

You asked.

Mite not be a bad long term decision.
Maybe he's a rare breed of wanting to play regularly and gradually progress his career.
One thing for sure is if you perform well at Pools your guaranteed a pay rise at anutha club.

To many of these kids from larger clubs thinking their Billy big bollocks then are finished in their mid 20s.

Too many of them come on loan as you say thinking they're way better than they are and have no desire to be here.
Cleary and Kemp were outstanding in that both actually were very good players but crucially relished playing for us.

Something for you to look forward too then.
Carry on obsessing - or see an optician.

Observation not an obsession. Fev finished the season heavier than when he started, you can tell when he's constantly stretching his shirt around his gut, I do it myself n bitch at the wife for shrinking my clothes when I know deep down it's not the shirt getting smaller.
