Brexit....was leaving the EU a mistake??

Because the government were after a quick buck without the bother and all governments since have been happy to milk it.
No matter who we elect, nothing changes.

It's fair enough discussing the pros and cons of the version we got, but it doesn't make the outcome of the vote wrong. Surely the focus now should be on making the best of things, not constantly pining for the past. The EU for all it's might hasn't got a co-ordinated position and strategy for the war in next door neighbouring Ukraine, that to me says they should have stuck to the original trading group premise rather than the failing drive towards the United States of Europe.

That trade union agreement was nice but it's taken a different turn since the likes of Covid. Middle Eastern.Russia v Ukraine wars .Immigration masses across Europe and the threat of US tariffs etc. if you have even noticed..I suppose you could always ask the likes of say. Greece or Spain to cough up more to the big pot,eh?.. :laugh:
