A rebrand from what? A bit of a bellend to a massive bellend?

You can rebrand anything, a rebrand is someone saying ‘let me try again’ to get it right or just trying every method possible to hang on to what they have and make is sound better…but it isn’t…just a sad commercial tool.

Raj could bring Klopp in as manager and everyone would still think he is a bellend. I don't even think Garry Gibson was this divisive

Maybe it's the passing of time- but I'm sure Garry (with 2 R's) Gibson got loads more hammer than Dr Izal has ever had. That said it was pre internet, however the abuse he got during games was much much worse.

I remember being stood an the open Terrace at Huddersfield's old Leeds Road ground (circa '94). Mr Ripper had adorned a double bed sheet with the words -

Gibson Out!
Busby Out!
Tits Out!

We were quite glad of it- when it started snowing in the second half!

Gibson got pelters to the point he needed bodyguards for his safety---i would also say he was worse than Raj in terms of money taken out of the club---I was v surprised he came back for a 1991 promo reunion a while back after what he allegedly pulled

At least we had something to show for it…..first time in my life we had a team of winners, which fired me up to what this club could do…25 years before Gibson, man and boy, I got excited that gates could reach well above 1,700….and made me want more.
I’ve said before it was a roller coaster ride with no brakes but woke me up to the idea that we could actually be like other clubs…so I’ll go easy on the bugger.

there are various other words that you can call a turn, but its still a turd at the end of the day.

I think the takeover could still be on, Why? Simon Grayson has arrived with no fanfaren no official welcome or press conference . It makes me feel someone in the background is pulling Raj's strings and making him clean up his shit before they take over. Then i wwoke up dream over.

The wishful thinking part of me is wondering whether Grayson has had assurances that a takeover is going to happen blah blah blah, but then when the amateurish PR offensive is happening with cock knockers from within the club coming on here... Well it all seems sketchy

I get the impression that Raj is playing off two interested parties - with a total disregard for the human collateral damage.

He may well be, But not 1 single criticism of the other party from within the club.

We should ask ourselves why are people inside Pools, SHIT scared of Shelley Hammond.

Interesting point Mr End. Do you have any idea what the answer may be? Or are the insiders even more scared of a 'fighting chappie not of The Quiet Man pedigree?

Is Grayson Raj’s signing? Because if I was negotiating to buy a club, that’s the things that I’d decide on, not the outgoing owner.
A bit like buying a house then find the present owner is knocking bits down and rebuilding it. sctatchinghead

I've no idea who's signing it is, at face value it looks like Raj's.
With no news I think I'm filling in gaps like everyone else. It did cross my mind with the Gateshead ex chairman coming on board, that it may have something to do with him as Grayson was coaching recently at Gateshead, then my mind started wandering then wondering about Raj's video when he claimed he now had two or three interested parties...is the third the failed Gateshead people? Im hoping not as that sounded grim as fuck and blew Gatesheads play off place up.

I think some people are scared of losing their prestigious status and perks. Either that ot they have a bromance with Raj.

Victor Anichebe and his lot failed to meet the football authorities criteria.
It may be that Pinkerton is the go between.

I’ve seen in the workplace a new senior manager come in with a rep’ of shaking things up and getting things improving / more efficient.

Cue the people coasting or having non jobs looking worried.

if it is raj.s signing it will be from advice from someone else and not initially his idea. thats been his main problem relying on advice he has been given. like getting financial advice from a rough sleeper.

Nice quote from that article, especially with Pinkerton being drafted in from Gateshead...
