Always wanted to go and finally booked up this year. Going on Saturday 2nd August and coming home Wednesday 6th August. Going Saturday because there's a R&B and Soul Night on. Bought tickets for Alan Davies Sunday night and Mark Watson Monday night. Rest of the time just gonna' take in all the free stuff.
Can't believe it's been going since 1947 and....'surpassed by only the Olympics and World Cup by Ticketed Events'!!!
Anyone been before??

It's great but hotels ramp up their prices. I've had friends perform and they struggle to break even due to accommodation costs.

That's the main reason I've never been before but I'm staying at a mate's house.

Only been to Scotland twice.
Late 80s
Celtic Park n Ibrox.
Both sets of fans were the friendliness you could wish to meet.
Certainly went out of their way to make us welcome.
