Carl Magnay kicking off as well in the local papers - he's probably heading for the sack but says their alleged takeover has been about to happen since January but still hasn't materialised.

And obviously what's going on at the moment at Pools...the echoes are there. Didn't raj stop paying for anything after the last game? Who's sorting out contracts...who's paying the bills...etc etc etc??? The Toy 'board' that Raj installed to deflect...how they fell for it. Is a takeover happening...Who's cutting the grass...Who's answering phone calls...etc etc etc??
We could quite easily end up in a worse situation than Gateshead. The silence is deafening. At least at Gateshead people are speaking out.

The difference is - to coin words from an old Jethro Tull song - Raj Singh has got everyone associated with Pools by the balls. No-one is permitted to speak out, not the 'interim board', the team management, coaches, players, backroom and general staff. The fans and media have been successfully mushroomed for week upon week - Raj must be laughing his own balls off at Singh Towers. It seems to me that as he cannot target the individuals who have abused him and his family in the past, he is making everyone associated with Pools suffer via the all pervading silence that has descended over the club like a damp, thick fog

Haven't you heard? No news is good news. Except, it's D-Day +1 and there's still no sign of those landing craft on the horizon.

They'll have a new pope before anything is sorted at Pools.

We had a great opportunity to cherry pick Gatesheads best players last summer on Freebies.

Anutha reason for not hitting the top 7.
We probably lose out to Stockton n Spennymoor if we don't get sorted out sharpish.

If he is fit would definitely make an offer to Greg Olley an excellent player at this level and already living just up the road so to speak also try and bring Kenton Richardson back.

possibly its attempting to be well run on the pitch not being helped by being badly run off it. could also say it was bad timing to interview anybody who is at a low ebb missing out on the play offs who is club captain and out of contract. what he did say is most likely be truthful and wish we could hear something as truthful from a pools player in similar circumstances with their point of view about us.

Should have signed Olley 3 years ago, now, I'm not so sure, the moment has probably passed, and seems to be picking up a lot of injuries recently. Also players from Gateshead seem to play better as a collective under the Gateshead brand, but isolated, often flatter to deceive, as Pools have seen, with the likes of McLaughlin and Hunter. Of course that could be said of a lot of players, or maybe it says more about how Pools are run as a club.

Not to mention Adam Campbell. His short-passing, run-about-a-bit-looking-busy game possibly works in some systems, but he's been a massive waste of a shirt at Pools.

We should definitely try and sign their player of the season Luke Hannant. He can play midfield or wing back and has scored 16 goals this season and is now out of contract!

https://gateshead-fc.com/luke-hannant-w ... e%20months.

its either the culture there or the players are really not that good but part of a team where they gell together. you could by the best players in the league to all play together that just do not come off.
