Rummaging through a few invoices and came across one for our season tickets for the 2006/07 season.
Two adults(me and our Lass)...........£700-00.
One under 19 ( the bairn)...............£180-00.
Total.............................................£880-00.

They haven't gone up much since 19 years ago.
And we had just been relegated from league one.

Invoice signed "paid in full" by Sharon Precious. 16-6-2006.

Years ago I bought some tickets for a big Pools/Darlo match and they came through the post with a compliments slip attached from the fabulously named Sharon Precious.

I still have it somewhere.

A great loss to Pools when she left.

We can't blame Raj for that unfortunately Mutley, I think Sharon left around Aug 2014.

Maybe Singh thinks if Pools sell a significant number of season tickets it would make a sale more attractive as that would be seen as guaranteed income ?

Think it's 100% to save him forking out until the deal, if there is one, is done.
Don't forget he's committed to fund the club until the end of June according to his own signed accounts.

Anyone buying a Season Ticket should either be committed to a secure unit for treatment or sectioned and given no access to money for their own good.

I'd bet that they won't even have reached double figures in sales never mind 150. There might not be a club let alone a season to look forward to within the next month or so.

We always have this comfort blanket that everything always turns out well eventually, as another ‘saviour’ with no budget of any consequence but a ‘vision’ turns up.
Maybe, there is no one out there this time, or maybe we’re on another ‘mystery tour’ going nowhere at walking pace…or maybe the buffers are coming up and the brakes aren’t working……ls ‘communicating’ with the fans a dirty word..,?

We only 27 days away from div5/6 expulsion as you have to be national league rules regiisted by the end of the May.

I wudent be surprised if there's a game of cat n mouse till 2930th of May.

Looks 100% that next seasons team will be the worst in the club's history.
Then we proper rebuild in 26/27.

I won't be buying a season ticket but I do wonder whether there is an insurance option to protect your money.. in case things do go pop. Is the money ringfenced until next season actually starts or is this a case of 'buyer beware'.

Why would the ST money be ring fenced?
Think that's a complete load of bollocks.
If it were ring fenced and couldn't be used, why not just wait until the clouds of uncertainty have cleared and then buy one- the sensible approach.

Only reason Raj wants the ST money is to cover his liabilities until a deal is done, rather than putting his hand in his own pocket. Therefore the ST money will have been used.

Exactly, ST money would belong to the owner of Pools which is Clarence 18, Singh couldn’t legally siphon it off. But as you say Accy if Singh put Pools into admin it would be used to pay of the liabilities of Clarence18.

It’s just a source of general income, not some scared special sum…if so, dedicated to what…?
It’ll go in the bucket marked CASH/INCOME……end of.

It's the final chapter of his taketh.
He's done well for himself but ultimately his greedyness was his own downfall.

A so called businessman who didn't take on the speculate to accumulate module after the fluke promotion.

But that cash/income would be used to pay of creditors if Singh put Pools into admin to administration.
Surely Singh is not that naive to do that, it must be either he plans to continue to fund Pools or there is an acceptable offer on the table and Pools are going through with preparations for next season. Singh might be thinking if there was a big uptake in ST sales it would indicate the fans are behind him or to any prospective buyer the fans are behind the club ?

We're going into the most expensive time of the year for running a football club, stadium to maintain, wages to be paid, without any cash flow. He's trying to minimise his outgoings until a deal is done by asking us to contribute. I'm not sure if there's any legal or other impacts if he pulls the plug by reneging on his commitment to fund the club to the end of June 2025? There'd certainly be a reputational hit for him I'd imagine.

But Clarence 18 is owned by Raj Singh, so what's illegal about it..?

Please explain further...

I can see what he's trying to do. He's appealing for business as usual. He's asking people to stick to their routines and buy a season ticket as they normally would do. But there's a dilemma. People are buying less of them because we've been rubbish and becausep of cost factors and more importantly they don't know if there will be a club or not. He's GOT to give out more and better assurances if he wants to convince people. I don't blame fans for keeping their money in their pockets.

buying a season ticket at pools is like paying up front for something you do not know whats going to happen. Even worse for next season as they know even less what they are paying for. Unless money does not matter to you i,m surprised the club has sold one.

I think the fact that he's said the ST money to keep the club running will come as a shock to many, I think there's a fair few who believed that they were contributing to team affairs. With zero public commitment to wether we'll have a club to support (especially after his doomsday announcement of stopping funding of the club) I can't see them breaking the zero sales barrier.

he has spent years appealing for businesses and individuals to come in with there money to back him as long has he has the final say. why should he change his approach now.
