My up to date sauce telling me.
Numerous offers for sale of Pools.
But no proof of funds.

It's a great wordage for I'm hanging back incase we win last 5 then win at Wembley.

This not having the proof of funds stuff is puzzling…surely to buy the club you need the funds because with out the funds there is no sale.
Anybody turning up without funds is just a time waster surely, so why would they have turned up in the first place…..so I have to assume anyone turning up is genuine.
Mind you I imagine a team in the playoffs or even promoted at the seasons is worth more than one in our present situation….call me a cynic.

Yes, it's definitely a strange one when he's said previously that he'll not even start negotiations with anyone without them lodging proof of funds with solicitors. Yet they've had 2 acceptable offers, how have offers been made without any talks having taken place?
Unless, with the extremely unlikely possibility of promotion, he's asking them for proof that they can sustain an efl club rather than a nl club, or he's holding out in a bidding war?

Sounds to me like he has had approaches that meet what he wants for his interests in the club but both are not wanting to initially meet how he gets his money back, ie he would like a clean break they want to spread payments over a period of time.

Proof of funds are a requirement of the Football Authorities, Never mind Raj.

Does proof of funds simply involve showing some bank statements, or is it more involved than that?

I ask because a recent piece in the Mail seemed to imply (without saying it directly) that you have to deposit the actual money in someone's bank account. I presume that would be an independent third party if true, and not one of Singh's.

Anyone more knowledgeable who can clarify the procedure(s) for me would become my new bezzie...!

I'm sure the proof of funds he was asking for previously to get talks started meant in a solicitors secured account. Now there may be more to it with the league wanting proof of funds to operate for a season on top of buying the club?

If that helps please don't make me your bezzie. Thanks.

Is Raj then going to pay the 32k the trust lost last year in solicitors fees despite proving the funds were there. The sooner he leaves the better and take his lackies with him.

Why would he, I would imagine he'd have had solicitors costs of his own too?

Its BS and the last time the old consortium deposited proof of funds that was requested by Raj into a 3rd party holding account he then came up with a new reason to stall. I think it was they hadnt given him a plan of how they would run the club or something.

Raj is obviously stalling to make absolutely sure we dont get into the playoffs.
