Bulldoze it to house hundreds of Boaties.
Murray St Part 2.

Na don't think the council would have the bottle to end the Vic.

I wouldn’t place too much in the covenant….times are a changing and with changes afoot for new planning regs and Council's having to generate more income themselves, it’s gonna be a funny old few years, so we have to hang on to our present status.

There's also votes to win. The end of the Vic? Very unpopular.

Local Goverment is going to change with the Governments target for the future ….so it’ll be bigger authorities and for us and could see the rebirth of Cleveland but without a local Council, just one large authority…..and they won’t give a flying fuck about Pools.
Cleveland came close to closing the club down in the 80’s and 90’s, while pulling their pods out to get the Boro’s ground open on time and I understand paying for the infrastructure around the the ground…the TDC paid for the ground and we got the ticket kiosks as compensation…the fixtures bright…or possibly not. :angry-tappingfoot:

it will give us just another layer of local government but our town council will still remain but with less powers.
