Has to be a win.
No ifs buts or silly excuses.
LLs already said there can be no more excuses.

But a few delinquents may disagree.

Away banker it is then because its one of these non top 5 games ye.

1-1 draw.

Excuses: "Lads were a bit ring rusty." " A long time since we last had a game." " If we could have just got that second goal we would have been home and dry."

I am going for a 0-3 win. If this manager is serious about the playoffs then 3 points is a must. We are Hartlepool United playing Wealdstone for fooksake stop the negativity and excuses Burnsey and provide 3 points it really is that simple.

I think this will be a turning point in the season when we win and mount a real playoff push.

Yes really!

I have always kept believing and saying we will make the playoffs. Now it's time for the club to get everyone believing because it really is now or never time.

Wealdstone 1 Pools 1.

Pools 1 down at half time. Go on to rally, equalise on 70th min and go agonisingly close to a winner at the end.

yes. feel nothing but a win will do now even if there are still 20 games to play after it. i,d guess other play off challengers would not be happy dropping points there.

If the season is not going to be a write-off we must start winning these games.

I hope that we can win 2-1 but won't be surprised if we find a way to drop points.

A must win game indeed - and one that this Pools side is well capable of winning. Unfortunately the squad as it stands is equally capable of drawing or - God forbid, losing. Trying to be positive here so I’m going for a 3-2 win but with a fallback of 2-2, a scoreline which Sutton Utd (more or less on a par with Pools at present) had to settle for in midweek

and if we do it needs following by a minimum of 13 more victories before the end of the season and sod the draws.

BBCstill have Sarl as manager, no idea what the actual line up is as there is just list of players in no particular order.

Happy with the 4 4 2 system.
Bench looks a bit weakish.
What will be will be.

Get in

Madine again. We’ve deserved it on balance, better side without creating much so good to get in front

Pools looking very solid against admittedly poor opposition but we do seem to have a bit of muscle around the team. That’s usually an important factor at this level. Madine looking the part now he’s fit and not getting brushed off like some of our more lightweight forwards.

Need another goal, wealdstone v poor, Madine very good, probably one of the best walking footballers in the country

Charman playing a lot higher than lualua (who somehow hasn’t been booked yet) I worry about Dodds and charman side both pushing up and could get caught out

The performance is solid but no one really looks v creative and glad we playing wealdstone with all these attacking injuries

How have they collected injuries when we haven't played for weeks?

Hard to overstate how shite wealdstone are…when waterfall and Sheron are playing through your pressing game you know your shite

Surely we have a better option than Charman on the bench?

Dodds having a poor game, Madine showing the rest up in terms of touch and ability

Can see this ending 1-1 if we don’t keep our foot down

Charman is simply playing above his skill level. Should be turning out for our Sunday league teams.
