Just dropped our kid off at work and passed 8 or more Police Cars & Vans all over the field opposite Miers shops the one near Garside Drive. Looks like a murder scene :roll:

Apparently someone got shot with a shotgun at 4.15 yesterday. Seriously injured so maybe died overnight hence the huge Police presence. :uhoh:

A man has suffered serious injuries in a shooting.

Officers were called to Garside Drive in Hartlepool, just after 14:15 GMT on Thursday to reports of a man with gunshot wounds.

Cleveland Police said its inquiries were focused on a number of addresses in the area and it did not believe there was a "wider threat" to the public.

The force also said there would be a larger police presence in the area to reassure the public.
