Been on BBC radio doing sport. Daughter of Kenny Daelglish. Dont watch MOTD so I dontr care. As we all know BBC determined to feminize all their output so no surprise really. At least it is not Alex fecking Scott.

As long as she is cheap and leaves opinions to the male ex footballers, that's fine with me.

She incredibly well respected on Sky and knows her stuff, not that I ever watch match of the day anyway! It's a bit irrelevant when you can watch all the highlights on YouTube about half an hour after a match is finished.

There is no chance I will be watching again anytime soon. She has been on Radio 5 for some time. I always put something else on as soon as I realise it is one of her programmes on. Maybe she will be only TV now so it could work out well for me

Well respected by who? The media clique I'm assuming, as it can’t be the viewing public, as most people have never heard of her.
But as you say, irrelevant as it’s another programme the BBC have buggered up, going from unmissable to effortlessly missable.

Why are people bothered?? No one on the bunker likes Lineker and no one watches MOTD anyway.

Simply because it was a decent programme that was killed by the likes of Lineker.
People do tend to get annoyed when something you like is fucked up by people who detract from the original format….not that difficult to work out .

Whether I watch it or not is irrelevant….I don’t watch Japanese donkey makeovers either but I know it’s shite without needing to watch it.

I stopped watching Corrie about 20 years ago because it became shite...I don't whinge about it now though.

There used to be reruns of the old Corrie on Freeview when it was more a comedy programme.

Aye I watch Classic Corrie on ITV X. Think it's upto 2004...when it started to get shite.

its just part of the agenda of a company where by law you have to pay a licence to watch with your own money. at least they are doing what everyone expected and is like sticking two fingers up at ex viewers. viewing figures once seemed the main thing in tv but now it seems a poor second to a certain agenda.

that was what it was meant to be a mixture oh comedy and really serious topics instead of gloom and doom. same with all soaps apart from eastenders that was always gloom. there was always one character you could relate to or knew someone like them but not anymore with vailed references to climate change etc being forced in to a conversation.

As someone else has pointed out, Coates won't be commentating on games, just hosting a discussion between ex-players. I've got Sky TV and yes, she's good at that particular job - and nowhere near as pleased with herself as Gary Lineker is.

Look on the bright side - if he hadn't disgraced himself Jermaine Jenas would have been a very strong contender - another ex-footballer right up his own arse.

UNlike commercial channels the BBC dont care about viewing figures because there are no advertisers who get annoyed when not enough viwers see their adverts. THe BBC get our licence money whater shoit they broadcast. They certainly do have an agenda. If a bloke leaves, replace him with a woman.

they can have a full staff of women and other minorities as long as they could prove that they were the best people for the job.

They don't have to prove anything because there is no accountability. They can do exactly as they please hence them pushing their liberal lefty social engineering agenda.
