I don’t know if anyone else is experiencing this but we seem to get a load of post twice a week and nothing at all on the other days…?
A new money saving trick…?

Might soon be even less as the Royal Mail is being bought out by a Czech billionaire and the first thing a take over involves is cost cutting meaning redundances.

A company the size of Royal Mail must surly be a very easy company to cut costs without redundancies. Imagine the millions spent on shit or over priced goods the company buys. There will be huge savings that can be negotiated on the vehicles alone. I would get off my arse and visit as many hubs as possible and would be asking all the akward questions. I would love the chance run it and within 12 months it would be very profitable I can assure you. As for staff that decision would be made after the 12 months and redundancies would only occur if it was needed. I have been in business nearly all my working life and I know what is required. That said I would think most people especially with a business back ground could make it work extremely well. Instead they put loons without any real experience in charge no wonder it's gradually been declining over many many years.

Years ago when the cost of a stamp was reasonably priced didn't Royal Mail deliver on a Sunday at Christmas, they also recruited extra staff over the Christmas period as well.

I got told that from now on we will get deliveries on a Mon/Wed/Fri one week, then the following week it will be Tues/Thurs.

The mother-in-law got a letter for a hospital appointment a week after the date of the appointment. Luckily the hospital rearranged it for another time & phoned her to confirm to make sure she knew the date.

We get two dumps a week too (not H'pool)

It's really crap now, "First Class (HA) can take 5 days or more and the price of stamps has doubled in about 2 years.

85p in March 2022 - £1.65 now, and they wonder why no one uses it anymore.

We see a walking postie and a postie in a van every day round here. We don’t necessarily get anything every day, but they’re certainly around our area every day.

They prioritise tracked parcels over the mail.its a privatized company so they make sure profits are made for shareholders.its got nothing to do with the postman who delivers what he's told
