Think he will be released at the end of the season, he did get some good last ditch tackles in though, definitely out of favour though.

he has never really had a chance this season to be fair and is the 4th choice centre back. its not as if both waterfall and sass davies have been without error this season and felt a bit sorry for the lad.

It could work out for the best for both parties if he is. Maidenhead have lost 5 out of the last 6 so Manny O will walk straight into their side and get the chance to restart his career.

Pools free up a wage and have the chance to bring in a new player who is more to the management team's liking.

Not a surprise but this is a mistake

He’s a better defender than Gash-Davies (and you could argue Waterfall) and with Xmas coming Parkes and waterfall won’t be playing every game.
Obviously the current set up don’t rate him and he does have a mistake in him but athletically he’s our best defender and would have complimented Parkes well.

I suppose it’s a money save ….

Your opinion and there opinion differ, they’re running the show.
Their choice
You know I don’t rate him on his unpredictability, but previous mangers haven’t rated him either…..his form is like the curates egg good in parts.
Added to that is what goes on behind the scenes for good or not so good …….bit that we’ll never really know, of course there’ll be someone who knows somebody who knows somebody etc etc,… who in reality knows nothing.

Yes it’s a message board….for opinions
Agree he has a mistake in him but was never given a chance to play next to a Parkes or waterfall and benefit from that experience , it’s a shame imo as physically there is a very good player there for this level

As I said in the last thread on this topic, he played in 9 games last season alongside Parkes, we didn’t keep a clean sheet once, we conceded 18 goals in those 9 games, including 7 at Gateshead. He was given plenty opportunities in that period and we looked much better at the back without him. He did produce some very good last ditch tackles, but they were often to prevent a one-on-one that had arisen due to a mistake he had made.

I get that his confidence would probably have been shot last season because of the general defending as a team, but BSD has a much lower mistake-per-game ratio than Onarise.

Isn't he still transfer listed?
We've got Sass Davies who the management seem to rate higher than him, Dodds and Hunter can both play CB if needed. Sitting on the bench or at home on match days isn't doing him or the club any good really so on balance probably good move and we've probably got a recall clause so if that was necessary at least he'd have a bit of match fitness.

I suppose fortune didn’t shine on him and actually he was a player I genuinely would have liked to see succeed, he was an honest player, all depends how the dice rolls sometimes.
A pity, but that’s life…hope he does succeed though.

he wanted away anyway whilst others didn,t and now he has got his wish. no point keeping anybody if their heart isn,t at the club as its rare they,ll give it all on the pitch.
