When you have a manager on the touch line who isn't offering advice and encouragement and his assistant spends 97 minutes leaning against the dugout offering nothing it's clear they don't belong. The board need to educate themselves in what good management is. Because they don't know. Every so often we strike lucky.

The Board appointed him, they should leave with him. Wouldn't trust them to know what a good manager looks like. Last choice seemed to think if you could dominate the middle third of the pitch that would be good enough. Unfortunately kicking the ball between the posts seemed not to be high on his priorities. Maybe the FA should change the rules so that possession gets you points.
He probably thinks that if you count the preseason friendlies, he won more games than he lost. Delusional idiot.
