wealdstone have a D Hutchison and a T Miller on the bench... so we may get overran in midfield later !

Deservedly behind after a fucking shocking performance against a poor side so far

Hoofball to nowhere and losing the battle in midfield
Sheron particularly poor but not the only one

No one on the bench to change it either

Goal was Stephenson fault but whole team desperate and fuck knows what the tactics are

Wealdstone take the lead. Interesting to see how Pools respond to going a goal down. Anyone watching te game say what happened? Wealstone good goal or defensive error?

Wealdstone taking the piss Christ help us when we play a half decent side

Just hoofing it and not even getting close to the 2nd ball, zero chances and 1 shot on target so far

Poor first half, they look dodgy at the back if we could muster something going forward

this is 110% on Sarll

All we are doing is whacking it up to Mani D and hoping to feed off scraps...at home !....to Wealdstone !

No one trying to play footbal and Weladstone are winning the battles as well.
In fairness football wise we.ve been shite all season so far but battled through--no excuses today.

Goal was Stephenson dropping an absolute bollock trying to let the ball run out of play but wealdstone could have scored another after.

Hunter and Sheron really struggling with the football and the 4 offensive players arent able to interact as they just trying to follow hopeful punt
Before the goal the (slight) saving grace was we at least didnt look like conceding---but if this is the best we can muster against the likes of Wealdstone this will be a long season (though maybe not for Sarll!)

No one on the bench who can really change it (maybe Sloggett)

BIG turnaround needed second half in quality and approach !

The holiday is over for Sarll. Good start to the season but I used to play on the reck in the 70s and play football teams who played like that. Shocking first half

Need to sort something out at half time if we are going to get a foothold in this game.
It seems in, an effort to control the midfield, we have surrendered the territory out wide and Stephenson and Ferguson are struggling to cope with the threat. That tactic is currently inviting trouble so something else has to happen or we're gonna lose this game.
So far the experience is giving credence to the theory that there are no easy games in this league.
Sarll said that having watched Wealdstone's previous three games they were in those games and it is absolutely the case that so far they are well into this current one.

This is better, trying to play a bit more football and string some passes together. We'll see.

Pools score through big hoof up the pitch which is what we were doing all match. We just can’t keep playing like this. Sarlls holiday period is over. We need a massive improvement on Monday

At least when he brought Nicky on we played some football and controlled the half don't know what Campbell has to offer to be honest he literally does nothing and that's not just this game.
Sarll has to look at his tactics trying to play football in the sky doesn't work.

Absolutely Dreadful, only going in one direction with that style of play and it ain't upwards. I couldn't even get excited about the equaliser.

I feel the same. To be honest Wealdstone where robbed and I got fed up with Barron saying that Wealdstone where good. They were not Micky. Pools where Sh@@e. Improvement in second half where we had more of the ball but just kept hoofing up in to the box. That style is just so old fashioned . Massive improvement needed for me . The better teams will blow us away. I’m just glad I pay £25 per month to watch the stream because would not want to watch that
Style of football every week. The positives we are still in the mix but I want to see width and the ball on the floor.

wealdstone battled well I suppose, but our 'tactics' were non-existent

Campbell, Mancini, Mani D and Grey must wonder what the point of it all is when zero football is playerd.

Hunter and Sheron together means we have to have someone in midfiled as well who can pass the ball a little or 2 good footballing full backs. Maybe Dodds will make a difference but while these are the 'instructions' we are always going to struggle....I can also see it not being long before the players stop 'buying into' the neanderthal approach as results tail off.
There HAS to be a way where we are more solid and at the same time play SOME football especially at home to really poor teams

Loyal have you got blisters on your fingers. That was not good to watch but I wouldn't call Wealdstone poor either. They could well upset a few more teams if they play that style of passing n moving football. I totally understand it was piss poor but I am fully aware that a group of 4 / 5 just need something to attack the club. I hope all fill their boots this weekend but I will stand by my club. Its still only 4 games and we still unbeaten and only conceded 1 in 4 games. We are 6th top on 8 points and very much in the mix this season. Remember two things we are not Man City who beat teams for fun, and it's still working progress.

I said something similar to my brother although I went with fraud!
That’s a bit harsh maybe but then we equalised and are unbeaten and we’re going to win the league so everything is fine again!

Attack the club? How about we attack the opposition. Play like that monday we will more than likely get beat. Its nowt to do with attacking the club. It was dire, piss poor pathetic whatever you wanna call it, its called being honest and saying what we see. I will say it once again if these performances were under previous managers we had they would of been getting slaughtered for it. We have just played two pretty poor teams and we have hardly created a sausage things have got to change tactics wise, we wont keep our luck for long.

4 games into a new season and unbeaten with only 1 goal conceded and 3 out of 4 clean sheets which includes 2 away wins from 2 games no goals conceded 2 draws at home (one with 10 men for nearly a full half )from 2 games with 1 goal conceded and 6th top of the league currently occupying a playoff spot. :roll:We have had long term injuries who are still not 100% recovered both important players then we had Sloggett out from pre- season and still not 100% and Charman out injured only played minutes so far. Aswell as Wallace and that promising young lad who broke his wrist. We have our new signing Madine not quite 100% fit to play. The manager keeps saying it's working progress and it is he says he is still working out a way to get the best from the squad and still looking for a couple more players. We have brought in the young lad Robinson from Derby and you will see when he settles he is good, I promise you because I was told about him a month back and he is highly thought of at Derby. Look it was a horrible shit show against Wealdstone and we have been patchy in some games but come on its 4 f......King games into a brand new season with a brand Management team and a lot of new players. You have every right to have a go like all of us but at least give them a chance. :roll:BTW if you look back at Phillips / Askey / Lee / Hartley and others they did get slaughtered time and again.

we haven,t any on our books with charman injured and madine not being risked yet. even players like hunter and sheron who in there careers have been defensive midfielders are expected to do a job further up front. the best thing we have in our locker is we have 4 centre backs for 2 positions where i doubt anyone in this division has the luxury of which later in the season will be a big edge for us. the whole squad is based of defence which could be a knee jerk on the last two seasons pre parkes and waterfall who were with us before sarll walked in.

You know what i mean Leggie, Not you by the way,OVs

We should win against Wealdstone though they had zero points and were at our place, if our fans start predicting losses at home to them we might as well turn the lights out.

i have my finger on the switch because at the moment its safer to predict a defeat at the vic rather than predicting a win by 2 goals or more there.

If some were to actually put their brains into gear and do some homework instead of looking at a clubs name and deducing we should win..............................Why am i even bothering.

Think WFC have a half decent squad to be fair.

I actually think Sarl is a chancer...all talk with no walk. But time will tell...time will probably be November and then Featherstone gets the job...on the cheap.

Only a few weeks out.
Now let's see if Featherstone gets the job.
