I watched the You Tube version and got the impression that Sarl was surprised by the way Brackley played and said on Tuesday we will be better able to play against them now we how they play. FFS Doesnt Sarl or his backroom staff do any research on opponents? Even if no one can be arsed to watch them live, there will be video of them. Is Sarl suggesting he had no idea what they were like beforethe game began?

Inconsistency of the players was the reason we did not win.
Ah well more shit put on the players because these disgraceful results this season are never the fault of our unsackable manager.

It's a major debacle for sure.

He said similar after the Sutton game saying " We watched the last 6 games" And they changed it round, So we had to cope with that.

you would not mind but he never really looks worried about the situation like askey did who didn,t know where to turn next by the end. probebly all bluff as usual who thought a veteran forward who has been out of the game over a year would be our saviour who would turn the clock back 5 years.

Don,t think they can figure out the tactics, When they ALL know they are better than that.

“See that there far end of the pitch? Kick it up there …charge after it….take
no prisoners…score goal …win game “. sadx

once he goes I expect the truth really will come out---am sur ethe players hate the tactics, but the more experienced ones must be fuming at a player who's level was barely above the Dog and Duck, banging on publicly about giving them size 9s up the backside etc..

It's my first game of the season on Tuesday night- and I'm going out of a sense of duty given the locality rather than anything else.

Would normally be excited in anticipation of seeing the boys live, representing our town but I'm struggling to motivate myself at the moment. Feels like something that will have to be endured- similar to visiting the Outlaws!

I don't blame the players either, and so I'm going to put the effort in for them. Thank god it's only 40 miles away, about an hour each way from my gaffe. Just hope we get a potentially reasonable draw, to help motivate the boys to progress, despite Uncle Darren's ineptitude.

what we do not need is a draw thats a real motivation for them to win. a club local to them like northampton town which they,ll see as their cup final. the game could go either way and we do not want that to possibly swing the game in their favour.

Based on Saturdays performances you'd have to make them favourites to win. For much of the game they looked like a team from a higher division, fit, fast, and a really well organised team.

They'll be having their cup final tomorrow night against Pools!

Got to hope, the form book is thrown out the the window....................(see my post on Magic of the Cup thread)!

I'd obviously be happy with KETRIN (local speak) AWAY at the Weetabix Stadium though if we do draw them, with my luck, it's bound to be a home tie, like the last time we played them.

If you can stand near the Dugout please, I,ve been told Snarll does not mind dishing out abuse to the players on the pitch.

I think the players are fed up of him - probably thought he would have been gone by now and now having to put up with fans going off aswell. not ideal if you are a player in a team struggling. Makes things much much worse !

Their front 3 tortured us - and will again tomorrow. Cannot see anything changing

Yes, But "Uncle Darren" will sort it, Sheron,Slogett in front of the back four plus keeper.
Thats seven defending our box, They will NEVER find a way through.

Then we nick a goal, Job done, And Snarlly lives another day.

If we can park the bus for 85 minutes, Brackley will tire because they are part timers. Then we can try and nick a goal. Pretty sure that will be the plan. Only problem is, one or two of our plays can have a lapse of concentration and it only takes one for the whole plan to go tits up. Seriously, I cant see us not losing this. Only silver lining will be Sarl on his bike.

There are quite a few players who seem to have lost the will to bother..

even if that came off its not for me the way to win a football match or keep fans happy. its bloody brackley we are playing not a team from the premier league. doubt most of their players are only there playing part time because a full time club does not want them.
