I've just logged on and my first thought was there's hardly anybody else on.
i'm 'going tomorrow but spoken to quite a few who are not. If it wasn't for the 2nd half last week and the players effectively doing their own thing, I wouldn't have considered going.
If he doesn't start with last week's finishing team, he should remain in the dressing room and let Lenny and Feathers un it.

Agree with every word Singhsong. I am going tomorrow for exactly the same reason.

Have you two not listened to "Uncle Darrens" latest, It was to his credit (resting) Manni and Joe, That they did what they did, He also said Madine was going to do about 70mins
So although we were two down, Manni/Joe would not havee been on so early, If it was not for Madines injury.

But the thing that really takes the biscuit is this.

I listened to Rob Law and Mark Carrol on Tees last night, And the said that Snarll DID NOT celebrate any of our goals, He is a fucking big kid.

Now thats out of the way, Enjoy the game lads, And lets hope the players take no notice to him.

Raj has just about killed the club. He’s ultimately responsible for the big decisions, the board, managers, etc. Fans will be back but not til he’s gone. Absolutely fair play to anyone still going, you’ve got my respect but tomorrow is going to be pitiful.

Its really beyond believe Gray. How can any manager even Pep not change a massive fook up he personally made before a game and leave it after going 0- 2 down at home.Especially after a horrible run of results. It's nothing short of pure arrogance. banghead The only thing I would say regarding the " non celebration " is after watching him in some games this season wether it be in person at home games or t.v. away games, I haven't seen him celebrating a goal in any big way just a smile or two. Now I am not suggesting for one minute that he is always that way after goals scored, it's just a few games I have had a look at him after a goal. Some of you may have seen him celebrating or jumping about giving it big licks but so far I have not but that's based on a few games only. Would be interested to know others people observations.

I think in 2018 we had a set of home games (ending with AFC Fylde at home on a tuesday) which had gates of around 1,800, think at the time it was the worst gates since the mid 90s (someone will probably correct me anyway). Wonder how long until we hit that low again. Seems now though ST holders are getting added, certainly didn't seem 3,100 from where I was stood at the Rochdale game.

They won't bring many, especially since they've been here before in the past decade.

We've scored 11 goals in total this season in 13 games and four of those came in the second half last Saturday (which to be honest has seriously papered over the cracks - especially given that we leaked 3). Ebbsfleet at the very bottom of the table have also scored 11 goals in 13 games. That's Ebbsfleet at the bottom of the table who beat us 1-0 a few weeks back.

The only possible explanation for DS not celebrating us scoring is that he literally hasn't got a clue what day it is. He doesn't know how to set us up, what players to pick, or how to react when the players he dropped (for no good reason other than that they're our best players) score

He's cool with Lennie Lawrence coming down to the bench and telling him how to do his job in front of a few thousand Poolies though.
So that's nice.

Listened to that on BBC Sounds tonight.
Thought Mark Carroll was spot on with his analysis of the situation we find ourselves in.

You know it must be bad if Mark's now picking and choosing his away days- which he revealed on theTees fans forum. I've not been to many away days, where I've not spotted him amongst the travelling contingent.

what annoys me is we have the players to play decent football and score goals. unlike the past we also have players who can come on to do the so called dirty part of the game to see it out. thats a situation i think most fans would be happy with.

Three and a half hours to Northampton and down then ..the A43 to Brackley there’s two speed cameras on that stretch….I know it well.
Of course don’t do it at peak times or you’ll lose the will to live near Leicester.

Spot on Snowy- the stretch between Northampton and Brackley is awful during peak times.

A good mate of mine who I used to work with, does that journey 4 days a week. He teaches in a school in Brackley- takes him 50 mins plus in both directions to do a journey which is probably the equivalent of driving to Middlesbrough from the Hart of the Pool.

Yep, bang on saying we've got a manager who doesn't know his best team and doesn't know what formation to play them in.

And no 'identity either' - all the crap about a high press went out of the window as soon as the season started and we came up against sides as fit or fitter than us.

The only reason he's still here is because Raj and LL are too embarrassed to pull the plug early on their own stupid decison-making at the end of last season.

I won't be there today because I'm in two minds about the result I want - be nice to move on in the FA Cup but even nicer if today was the last we see of Sarll in the home dugout.

Haven't felt like this since that other clown Paul Hartley was setting us on the road to relegation - at least then his squad was as shite as he was.

I think that makes the current situation worse Mr Hogans - we all knew the players in Hartley's team were bargain basement. Where as Uncle Darren has got as a good a squad as we've had since those heady IOR days in League 1.

As somebody posted previously (may have been Mutley) Uncle Darren's ineptitude is on a par with Martin Scott - a good squad which failed not because of the ability in the ranks but because of rank bad management of the resources at his disposal. banghead :angry-screaming:

Askey had some credit in the bank after the terrific start Pools made to last season - with Sarll it was a mediocre beginning and results went downhill from there.

Askey also had a half decent brand of football.
His biggest downfall was the injuries to our best players which led to a poor defence//midfield that shipped too many soft goals.

I'd have Askey back in a heartbeat - with the squad we now have.
